Legends tell of the fabled Temple of Moloch and the evil deeds that were done here. Within these halls, owlbears were first created through scientific experiments by the evil scientist-mage Thessalar. Here, the eponymous Temple receives blood sacrifice from the lizardfolk, the ettin, and their evil human allies. Here, the secret of a powerful time travel device is said to be hidden. And here, in the ruby-rich caverns beneath the lake, lurks a monster able to devour any hero... the fearsome Thessalhydra!!

The monster-filled Temple of Moloch is drawn as it appears in the 5th edition D&D adventure "Infernal Machine Rebuild." Oldschool D&D fans may recognize the temple map from its first appearance, however, as the 'random dungeon' tantalizingly mapped out in the back of the 1st edition AD&D Dungeon Master's Guide. Drawn on 18"x24" Bristol Board.
